To ensure that you are purchasing nutritious nutritional yeast, it is important to choose yeast with a Non-GMO logo. To ensure that it has a source of Vitamin B12, check the nutritional value table on the packaging to ensure the exact percentage of B12 per serving (be careful, because not all yeasts contain vitamin B12).

It is also important to read on the packaging if the yeast is allergen-free, if you are allergic to gluten or nuts.
